We Remember

It has been just over two months since my dear friend Olivia was called home to glory. Things have been very different within the Union community, particularly in the Department of Music and within the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Our hearts are in a healing process and we give ultimate thanks to the Lord for His continued faithfulness to us.

To properly honor the life, legacy, and song of Olivia, a scholarship has been established in her memory. We are very excited about this new venture and want to do all we can to sustain it. That being said, I would like to cordially invite all of you to a benefit concert that will fund this scholarship and make it available to future students while still remembering Olivia’s life. We Remember: A Benefit Concert for the Olivia Greenlee Memorial Scholarship will be held on May 10th at 7:30 in the evening at West Jackson Baptist Church. The Ladies of Zeta Tau Alpha and the Department of Music are teaming up to host this great concert that will celebrate Olivia’s life and remember the faithfulness of the Lord to us. The tickets for this event are only $10 and 100% of the proceeds are going towards the scholarship. A silent auction will be held from 6:30-7:15.

Tickets can be purchased from any member of Zeta Tau Alpha or Union University Singers. For those of you that are some distance away, but would still like to attend can purchase tickets by calling (731) 661-5345. This is also the number to call if you are unable to attend, but would still like to contribute to this scholarship fund.

We are very much anticipating this event and look forward to what God is going to do through this new venture. We’ll see you on May 10th!
