This week in my music theory class, we’re studying film music and what goes into composing it. More often than not, the Lydian scale is used. For those that understand music, the Lydian scale is simply a regular scale with a raised fourth degree. For example, a C Lydian scale would include: C D E F# G A B C.
I’m a huge fan of film scores and one of my very favorites is from one of my favorite movies. Enjoy the battle music from Hook!
