Union Preaching Night

I had a wonderful time this past Sunday evening with the great people of West Shiloh Baptist Church. Each February, the Shiloh Baptist Association hosts “Union Preaching Night.” Churches in the association are encouraged to participate in this event that allows Union ministry students to come and preach for experience. My roommates both participated. Tucker went to Center Hill BC in Counce (he originally pronounced it “Koonce”) and Will was at West Shiloh BC in Stantonville.

Since I have many ties to the people of WSBC, including my grandparents, I decided to go there. It was awesome to be able to worship with those people again. I even got to play the piano for them! Will preached a great sermon and at the end, Bro. David and the congregation surrounded us by the pulpit and prayed for the two of us in our journeys of ministry. It was definitely a sincere time of worship and it made me feel so loved. God bless WSBC!
