Man Weekend

I got to spend some quality time with my dad and brother this weekend. Days for “just the guys” come WAY too few and far between. We started off the day accompanying the children of the church to the Tennessee Aquarium until about 3:00. This was my first time to go to the Tennessee Aquarium and it was absolutely unbelievable! They had sharks and butterflies and sting rays and guitar fish and birds and snakes and jellyfish and PENGUINS! Yes, they had penguins! It was awesome 🙂

At 3:00, we departed Chattanooga for Knoxville for the UT-MTSU Homecoming game. My dad, the frugal man that he is, always looks to buy tickets on the street. It’s amazing what people will sell them for there. First, we parked at First Baptist Church of Knoxville. This church opens up their parking lot for games and the funds raised from it go towards their summer mission trip. It’s always great to help out your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. And I don’t mean to brag, but the three of us parked and got in Neyland Stadium for $40. Oh yeah, put that in your pipe and smoke it. We’re that good 🙂
