Toy Story 3

Now, I watched Toy Story when it came out in 1995. And I watched Toy Story 2 when it came out in 1999. But tonight, I saw the final bow.

I watched Toy Story 3 with some of my favorite people: the students of Union University. I had heard ALL about it from those who had seen it in theatres. And I heard two different opinions: those who thought it was great and those who thought it was depressing. I would agree that it was a GREAT movie, but had a VERY depressing, but heartfelt ending. For those that have not seen it, I won’t spoil the ending for you 🙂

But, my brother, as well as some of my friends at Union, have pointed out something kinda unique. We (people my age) have always been about the same age as Andy. We were small children when he was a small child. And now, as he went off to college, so did we! So many of my friends have told me of their mothers crying as they watched the movie because they felt Andy’s mother’s pain. But, it feels SO good to be able to say that. I think I might have another favorite trilogy 🙂
